ENRICHING DIMBAZA | HEALTHY FOOD FIRST | INLAND REGION

Smiles were the order of the day this morning in Dimbaza location when the City’s Municipal Health Services in the Inland region celebrated the elderly persons by bringing them vegetables.

Senior Environmental Practitioner Ayanda Qebeyi said, “This initiative is very close to our hearts as the department, the elderly people play an important role in the communities that is why they need to always be healthy.”

“They also need to keep busy too, so planting seeds and vegetables is one of the things they enjoy doing, hence today we saw it fit to come make their day.”

The day had a lineup of other activities too such as; cleaning up of the centre, health education awareness, issuing of gifts,
